Authentique Epicerie & Bar

Authentique – Epicerie & Bar encompasses our enthusiasm for Francophone Gastronomy with our desire to share the stories and terroirs behind our favourite products. We are Amaury Levisalles, Matthieu Sevagen, Alexandre Bal and Thomas Guidez, four French entrepreneurs and friends whose mission it is to promote specialist food and wine products from France and French-speaking countries. Every month, we take you on a journey through 1 of the 12 French wine regions, showcasing a curated selection of food and wines by the glass as well as a monthly winemaker dinner designed by our guest chefs. 

Authentique Epicerie & Bar is made up of a fine food store – the Epicerie – and a bar-restaurant area serving up to 50 covers. The venue also boasts a private dining room that looks onto a decked garden open when the weather is kind enough to let customers sip a glass outside. Authentique is available for private hiring upon request with the possibility to host private tasting and educative session focusing on wines or beers paired with food. Stocking over 700 wines, spirits and beers as well as 500 food items, our guests can enjoy wines by the glass or the bottle alongside a wide range of cheese and charcuterie boards and hot food designed to complement the wine choices.
